Fury teams traveled to Omaha, NE this past weekend to take part in the second phase of the Sanford Pentagon Tournament Series. In a weekend that included ECI (ND), Dakota Schoolers (SD), SD Heat (SD), WI Jets (WI), and Howard Pulley (MN) as opponents the Fury program came away with a combined record of 15-0.

17U Wilde (9-1 SPTS, 16-4 overall)

Austin Slater (6'8" - Wayzata) Austin used his physical play to dominate the paint all weekend long. With strong footwork, and a knack for being in the right spot, Slater accumulated double-doubles in all 5 games.

Steffon Musoke (6'5" - Rogers) - The athletic wing was able to attack at will all weekend long. Musoke is showing not only can he finish at the rim, but he can also be a gamechanger with his perimeter shooting.

Will Moreton (6'6" - Edina) - Moreton was able to attack in transition relentlessly against opponents. Will has the ability to not only finish above the rim, but also to be one of the more feared shooters in space.

Fury Zurn (9-1 SPTS, 18-2 overall)

Oakley Baker (6'4" - NRHEG) - Baker spent a majority of the weekend attacking the rim, coming off screens, and finding a way to find holes in opponent's permeter defense. This resulted in a number of double digit performances, and a recognition as one of the better pure shooters in his class.

Brian Smith (5'6" - Champlin Park) - Smith, a crafty PG, was able to single handedly break down opposing defenses all weekend. This resulted in setting teammates up for wide open looks at a high rate. When teams started to lay off, Brian made them pay shooting a high percentage all weekend long.

Alex Strazzanti (6'2" - Chaska) - Strazzanti spent the entire weekend guarding the oppositions leading scorer. He simply made life miserable, disrupting their offensive flow and forcing turnovers that led to easy transition buckets for his team. Was a catalyst all weekend long,

Fury Johnson (9-1 SPTS, 17-2 overall)

Michael Jones ( 6'3" - Woodbury) Jones had an extremely productive weekend shooting the ball at a high percentage. Teammates often found him in space on the perimeter where he would make opponents pay, burying shot after shot.

Jack Moe (6'0" - Blake) Moe not only played the facilitating role like a matured upper-classmen this weekend, distributing to teammates in all five games, but was also a threat in the scoring column with his ability to break down the opposition's defense leading to easy buckets for teammates, as well as himself.

Jaren Tschetter (6'5" - Eagan) - Jaren, a lanky wing, was a match-up nightmare for a majority of the weekend. His ability to play both inside and out frustrated a number of opponents. Tschetter finished with double digit points, as well as rebounds in a number of games this weekend.
