Pool play opened on Saturday, April 22nd with MN Fury Kline matching up against MN Heat Speer. Thanks to a good all around team effort, MN Fury walked away with a big double digit win. Fury Kline finished pool play against the MN Matrix, and due to some hot hands (Kurt Ohlhues, John Henry, Drew Bramlett), MN Fury again ran away with a big lead and earned a first round bye in bracket play.

Fury Kline advanced directly to the quarterfinals in bracket play on Sunday, April 23rd, and played WC United. This was a hard fought, physical game, and after MN Fury jumped out to a lead, WC United came roaring back. The teams battled back and forth trading leads for most of the second half. WC United held a 2 point lead with 30 seconds to go when John Henry hit a 3 to put the MN Fury up 1. After 2 very good defensive stands, the final score was 61-60 MN Fury over WC United.

Matched up against MN Select Cave in the semi-finals, Fury Kline jumped out to an early lead and didn't look back. Another good team effort led to another double digit win as Fury Kline advanced to the championship.

The championship game was a rematch against the MN Matrix. A closely contested game was blown open in the second half due to very good defense and rebounding from the MN Fury big men (Seth Thompson, Jacob Hutson). Fury Kline took a 10 point lead with 10 minutes remaining in the second half and never looked back. MN Fury went 5-0 on the weekend and won the MN Select Classic in convincing fashion!
