Fury Mid Season Update - Part 5

Today, we continue our look into Minnesota Fury newcomers and returners across the state of Minnesota. We are very excited to continue to share our players’ high school success this season!

Cole Nicholson, 6’6 F, Chaska High School

Cole has burst on onto the high school season during his junior campaign for the Hawks. While leading his team to an 11-4 record with wins over Lakeville North and Edina, Cole has also averaged 23.4 PPG to pace his team. Cole is one of the newcomers to the Minnesota Fury program this coming AAU season. He can score in a variety of ways including when he scored a career high 39 points against Orono earlier this season. Check out Cole and the Hawks on Tuesday January 30th, 2018on the road at Richfield and then again on Friday February 2nd, 2018 against Bloomington Kennedy.

PJ Hayes, 6’4 G, Waconia High School

PJ has had a very nice start to his sophomore season for Waconia. Having played a tough schedule, PJ has averaged 14.2 PPG for the Wildcats. PJ helped lead them to a victory over New Prague when he poured in 23 points. PJ is another newcomer to the Minnesota Fury program and is continuing to do big things for Waconia as the season progresses! You can catch PJ and Waconia on Monday January 29th, 2018 at Maple Grove and then again on Thursday February 1st, 2018 at Delano.

Kurt Ohlhues, 6’1 G, Eagan High School

Kurt his returning to the Minnesota Fury program for a second season. He has been a key piece for the young Eagan Wildcats averaging 7.9 PPG. Kurt lead Eagan to a 93-87 victory over Hastings when he scored a career high 23 points. Kurt and the Eagan Wildcats travel to Apple valley on Tuesday January 30th, 2018 and then again travel to Lakeville North on Friday February 2nd, 2018
