Today, we continue our look into Minnesota Fury newcomers and returners across the state of Minnesota. We are very excited to continue to share our players’ high school success this season!

Jacob Beeninga, 5’10 G, Wayzata High School

Jacob will be a newcomer to the Minnesota Fury program this season. Jacob is a junior captain for the Trojans and has led them to an 11-5 record this season, while tallying 19.8 PPG. Jacob uses his quickness and change of pace to score the basketball at a high level. Jacob scored a season high 31 in a win against Maple Grove. Jacob is committed to Minnesota State University – Moorhead of the NSIC, to play basketball. Catch Jacob and the Trojans on Friday February 2nd, 2018 at home vs Edina and then again on Saturday February 3rd, 2018 against Champlin Park at STMA.

Mark Richelsen, 6’4 F, Providence Academy

Mark will be returning for his 3rd season with the Minnesota Fury program. Mark has helped lead Providence Academy to an 8-7 record while scoring 12.8 PPG. Mark posted a season high 24 against Rockford earlier this season. Mark uses his footwork and non-stop motor to outwork his opponents every chance he gets to rebound and score the basketball. Providence Academy travels to St. Paul Academy on Friday February 2, 2018 and then plays host to Breck on Tuesday February 6th, 2018.

Brady Williams, 6’6 F, Dover-Eyota High School

Having just eclipsed 1000 career points on January 30th, 2018, Brady has helped lead his team to a 10-8 record while posting 15.6 PPG. Brady uses his athletic ability to get to comfortable spots on the floor to score and be able to guard multiple positions on the floor for his team. Brady scored a season high 35 points earlier this year against Winona-Cotter. Dover-Eyota travels to Wabasha-Kellogg on February 1st, 2018 and then plays host to Kingsland on Monday, February 5th, 2018.
