Fury Mid Season Update - Part 9

Andy Stafford, 6’5 F, Minnetonka High School

Andy will be in his first season in a Minnesota Fury uniform. He has helped lead Minnetonka to an 11-8 record during his junior campaign, while also averaging 8.3 PPG. Andy is a guy who uses his length to be able to score the basketball and guard other team’s top scorers. Andy poured in a season high 18 points against Edina earlier this season. Minnetonka plays at Eden Prairie on Friday February 16th, 2018 and then hosts Minneapolis Southwest on Saturday February 17th, 2018.

Charlie Haff, 6’6 F, Edina High School

Charlie has been a nice piece to Edina’s puzzle in his junior season. Coming off the bench for the 13-7 Hornets, Charlie has been steady defender and has the ability to score from the inside and outside. Charlie scored a season high 10 against St. Louis Park in a 58-54 win for Edina. Edina travels to Prior Lake on Thursday February 15th, 2018 and then travels to Cambridge-Isanti on Saturday February 17th, 2018.

Isaiah Watts, 6’3 G/F, Bloomington Jefferson High School

Isaiah is back for his 2nd season with the Minnesota Fury program. He has lead Jefferson to an 11-9 season while averaging 14.2 PPG. Isaiah uses his length and athleticism along with his non-stop motor to guard the other teams’ best player and has the ability to knock down shots from the outside and get to the rim. Isaiah scored a season high 25 points against Maranantha Christian Academy. Bloomington Jefferson travels to St. Louis Park on Friday February 16th, 2018 and then hosts Benilde-St. Margaret’s on Tuesday February 20th, 2018.
