With the high school basketball season in full swing, here’s your chance to check in on some Minnesota Fury players and how they are playing with their high school teams this season! We look forward to watching and supporting all of our Fury players as they continue to battle across the state of Minnesota! #FuryFamily

Dane Zimmer, 6’6” F, Hopkins High School

Dane has been a key player in the success of the 15-1 Royals. Averaging 8.2 PPG Dane compliments the talented front court of Hopkins as he can play both inside and out. Dane posted a season high 12 points in multiple games this season, including in a victory over Edina. Dane and the Royals travel to Eden Prairie on Friday January 19th, 2018 and host Robbinsdale Cooper on Thursday January 25th, 2018.

Cameron Steele, 6’7” F, Minnetonka High School

Cameron has stepped into a huge role for Minnetonka as a sophomore. Steel is averaging 18.3 PPG to pace the 9-4 Skippers. Cam is a sharp shooter around the arc and possesses the ability to put the ball on the floor and score at the rim. Steele put up a season high 26 points against Farmington this season. The Skippers play at Edina on Friday January 19th, 2018 and host St. Cloud Tech on Tuesday January 23rd, 2018.

Jacob Hutson, 6’8 C, Edina High School

The starting big man for the Hornets is sophomore Jacob Hutson. Having the 2017-2018 season be his first experience at the varsity level, Jacob has shined in key games for the Hornets in wins over Cretin-Derham Hall and Apple Valley scoring 10 and 13 points, respectively. Jacob also had a career high 30 points against Marantaha. The Hornets host Minnetonka on Friday January 19th, 2018 and then hosts Orono on Tuesday January 30th, 2018.
