With the high school basketball season in full swing, here’s your chance to check in on some Minnesota Fury players and how they are playing with their high school teams this season! We look forward to watching and supporting all of our Fury players as they continue to battle across the state of Minnesota! #FuryFamily

Zach Kloos, 6’0” G, Edina High School

Zach and the Edina Hornets have posted big wins this season over teams like Cretin-Derham Hall and Apple Valley. Zach is a guy who all of his teammates love to play with, always focusing on the little things defensively and being a viable option offensively off the bench for the 10-4 Hornets. Zach posted a career high 14 points against Delano earlier this season. Edina hosts Minnetonka on Friday January 19th, 2018 and then hosts Orono on Tuesday January 30th, 2018.

Charlie Gorres, 6’4” F, Park of Cottage Grove

Charlie is having a fantastic junior season for the Wolfpack. He has lead Park to a 5-7 record while averaging 21.0 PPG. Charlie opened the season with back to back 33-point games against Henry Sibley and Hill Murray. Charlie and the Wolfpack’s next 2 games will be at White Bear Lake on Friday January 19th, 2018 and at home against Mounds View on Tuesday January 23rd, 2018.

Charles Katona, 6’5” F, Shakopee High School

Charles is one of the leaders of the Sabers as a sophomore averaging 19.9 PPG. Charles is a smooth scorer of the basketball. He uses footwork and his high basketball IQ to get score in a variety of ways. Charles had a season high 31 against Apple Valley earlier this year. Katona and the Sabers hosts Rosemount on Friday January 19th, 2018 and then host Eagan on Tuesday January 23rd, 2018.
