Gitzen, a 6’4 junior guard for the Chanhassen Storm, will be entering his 3rd season with the Minnesota Fury program. Gitzen has led the Storm to a 7-6 record while averaging 16.6 PPG. Gitzen scored a season high 23 in a win over Minnetonka earlier this season. Gitzen will lead the Storm on the road against Richfield on Tuesday, January 15th and then the Storm will return home for a game against Benilde - St. Margaret’s on Friday, January 18th.
